Job Description:
This position primarily exists to identify, analyze and implement manufacturing application solutions to optimize the Mill Operations and achieve business goals in addition to providing support of manufacturing applications. This includes working closely with the operational teams to optimize key processes, leveraging Information Technology focused on driving value for the company customers.
Essential Functions:
Analyze complex business processes or issues and provide recommendations/solutions.
Perform project scoping, analysis and design recommendation for business manufacturing solutions.
Application and report development in a standard environment
MES administrator
IT application (locally developed) administrator
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA in Business or Technical fields (or Associate Degree with equivalent years of experience)

years of Information Technology or Manufacturing experience (preferred but not required)
2
years of system or application administration experience.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Strong technical skills in the following: Manufacturing Execution Systems, Visual Studio 2008, MS SQL Server, MS Excel (VBA), VB, etc.
Highly motivated, confident and energetic with eagerness to learn new applications and technology.
Excellent teamwork skills, organizational skills and communication skills both oral and written.
Ability to administer and improve existing manufacturing applications.
Versatile problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate these into solutions.
Ability to interact, lead and influence diverse groups of people (Management and Hourly) to solve common manufacturing business problems/projects.
Ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects and issues
ON CALL ROTATION
One of the primary functions of the Application Analyst position is to take part in mill on-call rotation. This rotation includes carrying a pager and being available to provide Tier-1 support on all high priority IT issues. While the majority of calls can quickly be resolved remotely via a connection into the network, some issue may require on-site support (for example, changing out a production related printer). Call volumes vary from week to week, however it would be considered normal to receive 1 or 2 high priority calls over a typical weekend (Fri-Sun).
With a 5 person rotation, the employee will be required to cover every 5th weekend (Fri - Sun) and alternating every 5th week (Mon - Thur). The team is flexible and dates can be traded or covered by other employees with advance notice.
Bottom Line Requirements:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
